However, the overall situation was complex and muddled, especially regarding vaccine information.

When people urged to "follow the science," I felt hesitant. Science is an iterative process of experimentation and discovery, and during this crisis, we were still in the midst of trial and error. The virus primarily affected the elderly, while children appeared largely unaffected, leading to resistance against measures like mask-wearing. I understood the government's intentions, but I found the phrase "follow the science" problematic.
