# Are You Truly Original or Merely Imitating?

Chapter 1: Understanding Success
Success can often seem like an ambiguous concept, leading many of us to feel like we are merely aspiring imitations rather than authentic individuals. After reading Mike Lewis's article, "The 3 Differences Between My Rich and Poor Friends," I found myself reconsidering my own values and what success truly means to me.
A common understanding of success is essential for effective communication, yet its definition varies significantly from one person to another. For instance, the way I perceive success might render me a failure in someone else's eyes, even though I find happiness in that definition.
At one point in my life, I took a step back to reevaluate my personal values and aspirations. The thought of reaching my ultimate goal felt daunting, almost like hitting a dead end. I've encountered numerous individuals who, after achieving their ambitions, experienced a profound sense of emptiness shortly thereafter.
To avoid that fate, I aimed to establish goals that would keep me motivated and engaged—chasing them without the pressure of having to reach them. Does this indicate an existential crisis? Perhaps. But do I mind? Not at all!
I aspire to improve daily, striving to become the best version of myself. Even if I may never fully succeed in that pursuit, the journey is what brings me joy. This relentless pursuit fuels my happiness and pride in who I am becoming.
Returning to the topic of success, we often envy those who appear to have it all figured out. However, are we certain that they are genuinely successful? When reflecting on others in comparison to our own definitions of success, it's crucial to remember:
There is no such thing as a free ride. Everyone must pull their own weight, and you too can achieve your version of success—beyond just the visible accomplishments.
What is your personal definition of success? When posed with that question, I often find myself wanting to ask in return: Are you an original, or simply a copy?
In this video titled "Are You a Photo-Copy or an Original?" we delve into the distinctions between originality and imitation, exploring the importance of authenticity in our lives.
Section 1.1: The Subjectivity of Success
Success isn't a one-size-fits-all concept. It's essential to recognize that what brings fulfillment to one person may not resonate with another. This subjectivity can lead to confusion and feelings of inadequacy when we compare ourselves to others.

Chapter 2: The Reality of Comparisons
In the video "Copy or Original?", we examine the implications of imitating others versus forging our own paths, highlighting the significance of embracing our uniqueness in the pursuit of success.
