Chapter 1: Keeping Your Resolutions on Track
As we step into 2024, I sincerely hope you remain dedicated to your New Year's resolutions. It's worth noting that a majority of individuals struggle to fulfill their yearly aspirations, with only a mere 8% succeeding.

Chapter 2: The Power of Planning
For those who favor physical planners, I highly recommend exploring the offerings from Passion Planner. They provide a complimentary 2024 planner that you can download and print at home.
Section 2.1: The Value of Reading
Books are an incredibly cost-effective source of knowledge. Just one book can impart insights equivalent to a decade's worth of experience. Each book delivers valuable lessons, irrespective of its genre.
Recently, I completed "Personality Isn’t Permanent" by Benjamin Hardy, a book many have recommended to me. It explores how various life experiences shape our beliefs and influence our behavior and personality. Hardy also shares strategies for overcoming limiting beliefs and cultivating new ones. I found it enlightening and highly recommend it.

Chapter 3: Life Updates and Reflections
In my personal life, my wife is currently in India for a few weeks. Meanwhile, my ten-year-old daughter and I are engaging in various activities together, such as cooking, cleaning, and even enjoying a Father-Daughter retreat through strawberry picking and theater outings.
My son contracted COVID-19 at college but fortunately experienced only mild symptoms and has since recovered.
I’ve committed to a cold shower routine for the past 45 days. On particularly stressful days, it has been a refreshing ritual that keeps me grounded.
Professionally, my role at AdventHealth is reaching a critical point with two significant project deliveries scheduled for February 8 and February 28. Our team is working on integrating the Epic EMR system with our AdventHealth applications, aiming to transition our first wave of patients by March 6. Our testing involves six in-sprint testers and four regression testers, alongside our quarterly planning.
One of my team members recently expressed gratitude for my contributions, a moment I will cherish. Making a positive impact on someone’s life is one of the most fulfilling achievements.
Chapter 4: Progress on Personal Goals
I successfully met my January goal of publishing one article and one YouTube video weekly, surpassing it by sharing seven articles, five videos, and one newsletter. I also completed reading "Personality Isn’t Permanent."
Section 4.1: Tools for Productivity
I utilize Asana for managing my writing and YouTube projects, Workflowy for quick notes, and NotionHQ for my vision board. Additionally, I employ Things 3 for task management. If you're interested, I can share how I use these tools effectively.
I’ve started using a Pomodoro technique app called Flow to enhance my focus. Although my success has been variable, I'm committed to improving. This time management method involves 25 minutes of work followed by a 5-minute break, with an extended break after four work sessions. I’m experimenting with 50-minute work blocks and 10-minute breaks, with each work period referred to as a Pomodoro, the Italian word for tomato.
Section 4.2: My YouTube Setup
Here’s a glimpse into my YouTube studio setup, which includes an iPhone, Yeti microphone, Logitech webcam, and several ring lights.
