Drinking plain water, without any additives or flavored drinks, has been a revelation. Initially, I found it challenging to drink a glass every hour. It felt monotonous and somewhat pointless. Yet, I persevered. Admittedly, there were days when I struggled, but I continued because I noticed positive changes.
I often think of my late Aunt V, who used to motivate us with her mantra: "Just do it, are you ten?" This encourages me to pour a glass and remind myself that achieving anything significant requires determination and persistence.
Research from Johns Hopkins University reveals that water does more than just satisfy thirst; it also curbs appetite, helping to reduce cravings for those extra snacks.
